I think the corporate executives finally realized the Republicans really intend to implement what they were campaigning on, and if that happened, it would cause a major world recession.
Let's compare the records: Trump had "infrastructure week" that resulted in nothing. Biden passed infrastructure legislation. Trump promised to propose something better than Obama Care, but never did. Biden got the drug companies to lower their prices. Trump passed major tax cuts for the wealthy, making the wealthy more wealthy. Biden proposes making the wealthy pay their fair share. Biden hired more IRS auditors to audit the rich, and they have already collected $1 billion from wealthy tax cheats. Under Biden, we are energy independent and are a net exporter of oil, producing more than any other country in the world. (I'm personally not sure that's a good thing, but the recent Republican Convention was big on needing to become energy independent. I guess they to take credit for Biden's accomplishment.) Crime rates were up under Trump. They are down now. More jobs are added every month. Companies are investing in new manufacturing plants in the US. Inflation was a big problem, but it is under control now. The border is a problem, but a bipartisan bill would have fixed that. The Democrats agreed to legislation that caved on almost every Republican demand, but Trump demanded that the Republican's kill the bill they have been trying to get for decades.

There are several other parties in the country, Green I believe is the biggest. The thing is that they only really come out every four years. Even then Green only gets about a million votes, so they act more like a spoiler rather than a serious contender.
